For Welles' first birthday photoshoot, his mom wanted to be sure we kept the focus on Welles and this moment in his life. The setup for his session was minimalistic, using only a few balloons, a white shag rug, and a half moon chair, as well as a few of Welles' favorite toys so he would have something to play with and would be able to look back fondly at his favorite toys from his first year.
During his session, Welles was playful, energetic, and happy, filling the studio with laughter and smiles! He played with some of the props and really knew how to work the camera. Welles' mom was very happy with her gallery of images from this session, and I truly feel as though we were able to capture this little man's essence through these photos.
