FAQs
How long does a session typically last?
Sesions time will vary depending on the type of session you are looking for. Newborns can take anywhere from 2-3 hours, where children sessions and family sessions are 30-60 minutes.
How soon will I receive my images?
You will receive your proof images within 24-48 hours of your scheduled session date. Edited images take a few days to return back to you. The quicker you choose your images, the faster you will receive the edited images back.
Can I print my images through you?
You sure can. I have an online store that has a lot of different items you can purchase. You can also see what your images will look like, in the different products, before you even print them.
Do you have a studio?
Do you offer clothing options for your clients?
Yes I do. I have a small studio in my home that many have said is "simply perfect." It was built to accommodate small kids and newborns but we have made families fit if you would rather have photos done indoors.
Yes! I offer clothing for Maternity and newborn clients. I do have a few options for children up to one year. As new items for older children are added to my collection, you will be able to view those as well.
My children are horrible for photos, what do you do when they don't corporate?
Though I have no control over your child. I do try my best to get some photos of them. Having several years of photographing children, I have had some tricks that really help with photos. Sometimes, playing in the dirt makes for some fun photos with kids :)
Do you sell RAW images?
No, I do not sell RAW unedited images. My photography is a pure representation of my work and talent. Though you do get to view the unedited images, that is simply so you are able to choose your favorite images from your session. I would rather you choose your images, as you know the smiles of your children, that cute look between siblings and of course the connection, so much more then I would. Its important for me to have you view the images and choose your favorites.
Do I get all the files from my session?
No and yes. You do get to view all the images, however they are all PROOF ONLY images. You are able to buy any images you would like as part of your session. If you would like to buy all the images, then yes you can have all the images :)
Do you offer location suggestions?
Yes! If you are interested in an outdoor location. I have a lot of different suggestions for you. You can also check out my blog for places I have photographed in the past, to help give you an idea of what you may be looking for.
Do you offer clothing suggestions?
Yes. Let's chat about what you are looking for and I am happy to help you choose colors for your session. You can also check out my link on Instagram and on Pinterest for ideas.
Do you travel outside of the Colorado Springs area?
I try to stay in Colorado Springs. Mostly, as I am not familiar with other areas around the state, to offer suggestions. Colorado Springs truly has so much to offer for photography backdrops and it is here that I have spent my years in photography, finding those magical locations.
