Melissa has a studio designed around newborns. She has EVERYTHING needed for your newborn session. Including props, outfits, headbands, hats, bowls, buckets and so much more. You will be set at ease when you are welcomed into her beautiful home studio, where you can sit back and watch all the magic happen before your eyes. 

 

Newborn photos typically will take place between 7-21 days old. We like to photography during this time as its considered to be a very "sleepy" time for newborns. It is also a time frame where they are still very moldable into those cute positions you often see in newborn photography. 
Newborn photography is a craft and an art all its own. It does take a lot of time and a lot of patience to get these beautiful images that you will treasure for a lifetime. Be prepared to spend at least two to three hours in the studio, as Melissa creates images you will simply be in awe over. 

Melissa offers a large variety of session types for newborns. Though everything is done in studio, to ensure the space is perfect for photos, Melissa offers a lot of different packages to meet your needs. If you are looking for something that is just of baby and not the entire family, she has everything for you. If you are looking for something with the whole family she can accommodate that as well. 
Booking for newborn photos typically should take place in the second trimester, to ensure you are able to get a booking with Life Photography. Melissa is often booked several months in advance, so be sure to book/reserve your session right away. You will not want to miss out on the smallest of days of your little ones life.
